Machinery

The objective of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) is to ensure that work equipment should not result in health and safety risks, regardless of its age, condition or origin. Adequate training of the operator is essential to enable any work involving machinery to be carried out safely.

Land Skills Training and Assessments offer the following training courses that focus on machine preparation, routine operator checks, maintenance and safe operation. If appropriate an integrated assessment will also be carried following training in order to confirm underpinning knowledge.
